Elara, the librarian, loved her quiet life among ancient texts. Today, however, she had a difficult task. The old clock in the library tower read quarter to three, and she needed to finalize the summer reading program. She couldn't count on her assistant, Liam, who was away at a book fair. Elara had to come up with new ideas all by herself.
She decided to go over the previous year's feedback. Many students had turned down the fantasy book suggestions, wanting more adventure. She also noted that several parents had to put off signing up due to inconvenient timings. Elara knew she couldn't run out of engaging stories this year. She hoped Liam would get back to her with his suggestions, but he was frequently busy. Occasionally, she felt overwhelmed by the duration of her responsibilities.
Prior to the meeting at half past four, Elara found an old, dusty map. It sparked an idea: a 'Literary Treasure Hunt'! She immediately began to plan. Meanwhile, she mentally prepared a strong case for more funding. She knew that eventually, her efforts would make the library a more exciting place for everyone, especially if she could bring up this innovative idea during the upcoming staff lecture.
