Chef Dubois, a man of formidable patience, sighed.
He understood Leo's struggle.
The bakery was always bustling, and today was no exception.
Before he could re-explain, the kitchen's main alarm blared, signaling an urgent delivery.
"Just focus on the oven, Leo!" Chef Dubois called over his shoulder, rushing out.
Leo was alone.
He knew he also had to do laundry for the aprons, take out the trash from the prep area, and vacuum the dining room floor before closing.
But the oven, a gleaming metal monster, was the immediate challenge.
He took a deep breath.
Forget the microwave for heating leftovers; this was serious.
He checked the dials, remembering Chef's earlier lessons.
With a surge of confidence, he carefully adjusted the temperature.
When Chef Dubois returned an hour later, the bakery was spotless, the laundry done, the trash gone.
And from the oven, a perfect aroma wafted.
