Last Friday, many people went shopping at the big shop in town.
Some friends took their cars and made a shopping list before they left.
They wanted to buy a new scarf, some music, and a few things for their homes.
The winter price was low, so the shop was busy all day.
People pushed their cart through the aisles, looking for the best deals.
But heavy rain turned the road outside into thick mud.
When customers finished shopping and tried to drive home, some cars got stuck.
One person took a photo of a friend trying to help push a cart through the mud.
"It took us a long time to leave," she said.
"But we found everything we needed, so it was still a good day."
January often brings wet days to the area, but shops stay open and people keep coming for good prices.
Next time, shoppers say, they might bring boots as well as a shopping list.
