Just wanted to give you all a quick update since it’s been a busy week at work and at home! First of all, the COO finally signed off on the new contract yesterday. That means we can now move forward, but the deadline for the project hasn’t changed, so everyone still needs to keep an eye on the ETA. I know the MOT for my car is also coming up soon—just another deadline to remember this month!
On a brighter note, my parents called this morning to remind me about the Double Ninth Festival this weekend. We usually visit my grandmother, climb a little hill near her house, and share some special food. Even though I need to check work emails, I’m planning to take a break and join them. Also, for those who asked, I did top up my CPF last week, so I should be fine for a while.
By the way, I started reading a new novel last night. The antagonist is really interesting—not your typical bad guy. If anyone needs a book recommendation, let me know! Anyway, hope you all have a good week, and don’t forget to enjoy some family time during the Double Ninth Festival if you can.
