Automate Your Daily Market Report with an Agent

🗓 2026年6月1日· 📚 精选词库 · 👀 4

Every morning you open your phone and look at the market.

You see charts and numbers. What you need is a verdict.

This lesson teaches you to set up a fixed prompt template — so your Agent generates a structured morning briefing every day. You just read it and decide what to do.

- Theory: what a good daily report contains, and why structure matters - In practice: write a fixed prompt template that produces consistent, standardized output every time

No Extra Installation Needed

All skills are already active. The core of this lesson is writing the right prompt template — not installing new tools.

A good trading daily report isn't a news list. It's a decision-support document that answers three questions: What happened overnight? What do I need to watch today? How are my positions doing?

Standard daily report structure:

- Market overview: BTC/ETH price, 24h change, total market cap (source: market-intel) - Macro signal: Fed stance, DXY, yield curve latest (source: macro-analyst) - Key news: 1–3 most important overnight stories (source: news-briefing) - Sentiment reading: Fear & Greed Index + funding rate (source: sentiment-analyst) - Technical snapshot: BTC 4H trend direction + key levels (source: technical-analysis) - Today's watch list: Any important events or data releases today (source: macro-analyst + news-briefing) - Position status: Current holdings, P&L, stop distance (source: Account tools)

> What is the fundamental difference between spending 5 minutes reading a structured daily report vs. randomly checking charts? What does it mean when both the "technical snapshot" and "sentiment reading" are simultaneously bearish? How should you handle the contradiction when "macro signal" says RISK-OFF but "technical" shows an uptrend? Output: explanation of the decision value of daily reports.

Here is the core. Save this prompt and copy it to your Agent every morning to get a standardized daily report.

Daily Morning Report Template v1

> Please output in the following format, each module concise, no more than 3 sentences: [Market Overview] BTC current price: X USDT, 24h change: X% ETH current price: X USDT, 24h change: X% Total crypto market cap: X, BTC dominance: X% [Macro Signal] Fed stance: (Hawkish / Dovish / Neutral) DXY 30-day trend: (Strengthening / Weakening) Overall macro: RISK-ON / MIXED / RISK-OFF [Overnight Key News] [Most important news, one sentence] [Second most important] [Third, or write "No major news"] [Sentiment Reading] Fear & Greed Index: X (Extreme Fear / Fear / Neutral / Greed / Extreme Greed) BTC Funding Rate: X% (Bullish / Balanced / Bearish) Top traders vs. retail L/S ratio: (Aligned / Top traders long, retail short / Top traders short, retail long) [Technical Snapshot (BTC 4H)] Trend direction: (Up / Down / Sideways) RSI: X (Overbought / Neutral / Oversold) Recent key support: X USDT / Recent key resistance: X USDT [Today's Watch] Any important macro data releases today: (Yes / No, if yes note time and content) Risk events to watch: (Or "None") [One-Sentence Conclusion] Today's overall market bias: (Long / Wait / Short), reasoning: [one sentence] All data must be real-time, no estimates.

Advanced: Adding Position Status

If you have positions, add this at the end:

> [Current Position Status] Query my current futures positions. For each position, tell me: direction, entry price, current P&L, distance of stop-loss from current price. Any position risks I need to watch today?

If your Agent environment supports scheduled tasks, set this prompt to run automatically at a fixed time daily.

Use system cron, runs daily at 8 AM:

> # Open crontab crontab -e # Add this line (triggers daily at 8:00 AM) 0 8 * * * claude "Generate my daily morning trading briefing..." >> ~/trading_reports/$(date +%Y%m%d).txt

Create daily_report.md in your project directory with the prompt template above, set a keyboard shortcut for one-click trigger.

Save the prompt in your notes or a document, copy-paste every morning (30 seconds), get a full report in 10 seconds.

> 1. Follow the template format strictly — no missing modules. 2. All numbers must be real-time data, not estimates or historical. 3. The "one-sentence conclusion" must be backed by data, not vague statements like "market is unclear." 4. If any data is unavailable, mark it as "Data temporarily unavailable" in that section — do not leave blank. After completion, tell me: which module's signal is most worth focusing on today? Why?

Report format complete, data real, conclusion supported — Lesson 13 passed.
