This week, a local school made an important adjustment after some students became sick. Many children started to cough during class, and teachers noticed more students were staying at home. The school quickly sent a letter to parents, explaining the new rules. Students now need to wear warm clothes, and teachers will check everyone’s health each morning.
The school put a sign at the back of the hall to remind everyone to wash their hands. There are also spades in the playground, so children can move fresh snow and play safely. One teacher said, "We want to keep our children safe and happy."
Last year, the same school had a similar problem during the winter. This time, staff hope that the new adjustment will help everyone feel better soon.
