A city library has opened a new study room this week, designed to help students prepare for their exams in a comfortable and quiet environment.
The space, which opened on Monday, is already popular with high school and college students who say it is the perfect place to focus without distractions.
The library spent several months planning the new room, comparing different layouts and furniture to create an area where silence is respected.
Many students told our reporter that it is almost impossible to find such a peaceful spot elsewhere in the city.
"At home, there is always some noise, and it's hard to study," said Lisa Chen, a university student.
"Here, I can sit comfortably and concentrate for hours."
Library staff worked closely with teachers to understand what students need most during exam season.
They focused not only on comfort but also on good lighting and geography, making sure the room was easy to reach from all parts of the city.
Staff say the reaction so far has been very positive, and the number of complaints about noise in the main library has dropped since the room's opening.
Officials hope that the success of the new study room will help students achieve better results this year.
"We know we can't create a perfect solution for everyone, but we want to do everything we can to support local students," said library manager Grace Wong.
