A unique competition took place in the city park this Saturday. People tried to balance scissors on a narrow wooden board. The goal was to keep the scissors standing straight for as long as possible. Many competitors lined up to join, and there was excitement in the air as each person stepped up to the board.
The board was flat and placed above the ground on a low stand. The line of people waiting to try grew longer as the crowd cheered for each new attempt. Some scissors fell quickly, but a few skillful players managed to keep them steady for more than a minute. One participant, Anna, said, "It looks easy, but the board is narrow and the scissors are hard to balance."
Organizers say they hope to repeat the event next year. They believe this fun and simple game brings people together and tests their steady hands.
